Dr. Sonya Howell Barrow is a retired U.S. Army Combat Veteran who served honorably and distinctively for over 26 years in various organizations and deployments before retiring as a Chief Warrant Officer Five (CW5) in November 2018.
She was born at Fort Gordon (previously known as Camp Gordon, now known as Fort Eisenhower), Georgia and raised between Augusta and Warrenton, Georgia. She is a mother of two adult sons.
Dr. Sonya earned her Master’s Degree in Cyber Security from the University of Maryland, University College. Additionally, she has Information Technology and Project Management training
Following her retirement from the Army, Dr. Sonya is pursuing her dream as a published author. Dr. Sonya is an Amazon International Bestselling Author, Certified Life Coach, Founder of AuthorpreneurSonya , CEO/Owner of The SoJaDe Group, LLC and SoJaDe Publishing, LLC.
Dr. Sonya provides a creative artistic space via social media platforms and websites to showcase her non-fiction and fiction published works to readers across four genres to Inspire and Motivate (FIRE – Fearless. Inspired. Resilient. Empowered.); to provide resourceful tools for Self-Help; to share stories of Soldier Girl (Military Life); and for Entertainment (TEA – Tantalizing. Enchanting. Ascending.) through captivating storytelling by telling one story at a time.
When she is not writing, Dr. Sonya enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. Her faith, strong will, and determination helped to redefine her future. If Dr. Sonya isn’t spending time with family and friends, she is always trying to motivate others by letting them know that the “glass is always half full, never half empty.” She chooses to be a beacon of hope and strives to encourage others to live their best lives that are filled with confidence, self-awareness, and personal growth.

★ Provide management and personal assistance services for Entertainers within the music, television, and movie industries.
★ Provide a mobile food truck for those food lover’s that are busy and always on the go.
